Last month we hosted in Marseille the Yoga Iyengar European Convention.
Our special guest Abhijata guided us through four days of intense practice and deep exchanges. She also honoured us during a puja at the Yoga Iyengar Center in Marseille. We would like to share with you a photo essay of those unforgettable moments.
The General Assembly of United Nations has announced the International Yoga Day 2018, June 16th.
For this occasion, we are pleased to invite you for a collective practice on Saturday 16th June, at the esplanade of Cathédrale de la Major.
This celebration is organised in collaboration with the Embassy of India.

This year, the European Convention for southern Europe will take place in May in Marseille, France.
Guest of honor is Abhijata, B.K.S Iyengar’s grand daughter and teacher at the RIMY in Pune.
How to participate to the European Convention for Southern Europe
The Convention, organised by the AFYI, the Yoga Iyengar French Association, will take place at the Parc Channot in Marseille, form the 18th to the 21st of May.
Guest counties for this event are Spain, Italy and Portugal. 650 places will be available (half of them reserved to french participants). Inscriptions will open on the 20th of January and they can be made directly from the AFYI web site.
For the occasion Abhijata Iyengar will propose a practice on the theme “Beyond limits”. The Convention is an unique opportunity to meet and share yoga practice on an international level. The participation is reserved to members and to people with at least two years of practice.
